CRKT Caligo Schwarz IKBS Flipper 6215

The simple yet highly aesthetic CRKT Caligo was designed by knife maker T.J. Schwarz. With a background in mechanical engineering and an affinity for classic cars Schwarz has created a knife with sweeping lines and and an aerodynamic style. The Caligo is subtly eye-catching and functionally ergonomic with a highly utilitarian drop point blade that cuts remarkably well.

The Blade: The drop point blade of the Caligo rides on an IKBS pivot for fast and silky smooth flipper deployment. The black oxide finished blade is a simple and utilitarian affair with high height hollow grind and full length swedge that gives excellent slicing and piercing performance while blending seamlessly with the contoured handles.

The Handle: Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum the handles of the Caligo have the elegant, sweeping lines that call to mind the classic cars that have inspired Schwarz's design. A bright blue pivot collar adds a pop of color to the Caligo's, Latin for "darkness", all black color scheme.

The knife carries via a black tip-up, right-hand-only stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
