Designed by Custom knife maker and Knife makers' Guild member Kit Carson, the CRKT Carson M4-02W is a classic design. This deluxe model elevates the utilitarian design to a handsome gentleman's carry with a satin finished stainless steel bolster complementing the beautiful Burl Wood scales. The compact design of the M4-02 is perfect for ever day carry and features CRKT's Outburst assisted opening mechanism for quick access of the blade.

Blade: The M4-02M has a satin finished drop point blade for functional utility. The blade is hollow ground with a prominent top swedge for slicing and piercing performance respectively. The blade opens very fast with the help of the Outburst Assisted Opening mechanism with just a push of the textured dual thumb studs.

Handle: Robust steel liners support brushed satin stainless steel bolsters fit to handsome burl wood scales. The handles are contoured for comfort while jimping on the raised thumb ramp and liner lock add traction in the hand. The liner lock is smooth and reliable with the added safety of the LAWKS manual liner safety. A brushed steel back spacer adds heft and balance in the hand and protects the blade when closed.

Carries via a right hand, tip-down, stainless steel clip.

8Cr13MoV Stainless: is a highly corrosion resistant stainless steel with decent toughness and edge holding. This steel is in the same class as 440B and AUS-8.
