The CRKT Edgie is a neat little piece of knife history. A knife that sharpens itself, the Edgie uses a diamond-coated spring plate to hone the edge every time the knife is opened or closed. The 420J2 steel develops a burr that acts as a micro-serrated edge, allowing the Edgie to be an absolute menace to cardboard and tape. An awesome piece to show off one of the weirder knife developments from the late 00's or a real-deal working knife that can be put to use without long sharpening sessions, the Edgie is a great piece of kit.
420J2 Stainless Steel: Highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Moderate edge retention with good toughness and ease of sharpening.
