Details

Another classic James Williams design, the Goken from CRKT follows in the lineage of famous designs like the Hissatsu and the Otanashi Noh Ken while incorporating modern design technologies. The Goken is an inset liner lock flipper with Field Strip Technology, something we haven't seen in a Williams design. As with Williams' previous designs, the Goken blends modern and traditional into a powerful cutting tool.

Brand new product directly from Columbia River Knife & Tool.

The Blade: Like its older brother the Shizuka Noh Ken, the blade of the Goken is a modified Tanto called an Osaraku. This blade shape excels at both slashing cuts and deep penetration. The blade has a durable black powder coat finish for enhanced corrosion resistance and low reflectivity.

The Handle: G10 scales are textured for grip with a neutral grip design that allows a secure and comfortable grip in a variety of positions. An inset liner lock mechanism keeps the blade secure during use while a black backspacer completes construction. Over-sized black finished pivot with field strip lever allows the user to disassemble the knife. Slide the lever to the right, then spin the "gear" spacer at the end of the handle to complete disassembly. Reverse the process to re-assemble.

The knife carries via a reversible, tip-up stainless steel deep carry pocket clip in a low-profile black finish.
