The original CRKT Hi Jinx was a highly limited release based on Ken Onion's "Old Scallywag" custom folder. The K281KXP Hi Jinx Z is a more accessible, every day carry folder with all the same great design lines and features. The Hi Jinx Z has Glass Reinforced Nylon scales with inset stainless steel liners which help to greatly reduce the overall weight without sacrificing functionality or in-hand security. The Hi Jinx Z is a robust, gentleman's folder that is as comfortable dressed up as it is in the woods.

The Blade:  The satin drop point blade features a high height saber grind and long swedge that makes it a powerful cutting machine without sacrificing strength in the blade. The German 1.4116 stainless steel is easy to maintain and takes a razor sharp edge. The satin finish add to the overall elegance of this highly utilitarian folder. 

The Handle: Black Glass Reinforced Nylon scales have jimping at the spine, a deep finger cutout, and subtle texturing on the slightly concave flats. All these things work together with the ergonomic handle design to provide a very secure grip in a variety of positions. An inset liner lock mechanism provides solid and safe operation of the knife. A custom designed "Y" pivot adds a custom touch to the look of the knife and the IKBS bearing pivot system makes deployment exceptionally smooth and fast via the index flipper. 

The Hi Jinx Z carries via an ambidextrous, deep carry, stainless steel pocket clip set up for tip-up carry.
