The Blade: HVAS, translating simply to "sharp" in Old Norse, lives up to its name with a high height hollow grind that maintains a robust thickness at the spine while having a fine, razor-like edge for excellent slicing performance. The HVAS opens smoothly on Teflon washers and opens easily via the eye-like opening hole.

The Handle: Glass Filled Nylon handle scales feature a "pebble" texture for security in hand while keeping the knife lightweight yet durable. An inset liner lock mechanism keeps the blade secure during use while a black backspacer completes construction. Over-sized black finished pivot with field strip lever allows the user to disassemble the knife. Slide the lever to the right, then spin the "gear" spacer at the end of the handle to complete disassembly. Reverse the process to re-assemble.

The knife carries via a reversible, tip-up stainless steel deep carry pocket clip in a low-profile black finish.
