This knife features the innovative Crawford Lockback mechanism and a simple, utilitarian design: blade, handle, lock and clip. All components are stainless steel with a brushed finish on the handles and satin finished blade for a classy look.

The Blade: The drop point blade of the Offbeat is simple and utilitarian with a high height hollow grind and full length swedge that gives excellent slicing and piercing performance. The blade opens via robust dual thumb studs for ambidextrous operation.

The Handle: The handles are simply Brush Finished 2Cr13 stainless steel housing the innovative Crawford Lockback mechanism. A long, slender cutout along the back ends in a solid, textured thumb stud. As the blade is deployed the cutout slides around the tang of the blade until it reaches a notch, seating snugly into place. This effectively locks the blade in the open position and the harder you grip the handles, the more secure it becomes.

The knife carries via a tip-up, right-hand-only stainless steel pocket clip.
