Details
The Philip Booth designed Ripsnort is a beefy Cleaver flipper built by CRKT with clean lines and plenty of heft. The flipping cleaver design is useful for every day utility to chopping tasks and fits right in with the wharny crowd.
Brand new product directly from Columbia River Knife & Tool.
The Blade: This chopping cleaver has a long upper swedge grind and a slight belly cutting edge for a super cool look. Its wide tip includes a bit of a point with a downward slope that looks like it's ready to get shaving. A sweet satin finish glimmers in the light and really classes this one up. It works via a notched flipper tab that extends out the back of the handle while the blade glides along smoothly on a Teflon washers pivot.
The Handle: Suited up with smooth black POM scales and steel accented inserts all secured via silver Torx hardware. Thick, full stainless steel liners provide a solid base with one forming the liner locking mechanism. It's smooth operating for ease of function. Short black backspacer construction paired with a lightly tumbled deep carry pocket clip round out the Ripsnort.
