The RTD was named for and inspired by the Ruger 10/22 Takedown and designed by custom maker Matthew Lerch incorporating Ken Onion's Field Strip Technology to create a highly functional cutting tool that allows for easy maintenance where ever you go.

The Blade: A classic design, this clip point blade is hollow ground for optimal slicing performance and thanks to a generous top swedge the blade ends in a fine, piercing point. A jimped thumb ramp offers extra purchase for tough cuts and the black coated blade enhances resistance to corrosion. Teflon washers make for silky smooth deployment via the index flipper.

The Handle: The handles are made from tough, lightweight Glass Reinforced Nylon with inset steel liners. The textured scales provide a secure grip and the GRN construction makes the handle nearly impervious to the elements. The liner lock delivers secure, worry free lock up. Field Strip Technology construction means that you can disassemble, clean and reassemble the RTD in a matter of minutes without the need for any additional tools.

The knife carries via tip-up, right hand stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
