Redesign the traditional Sodbuster with modern materials and space age look, and you might end up with something like the D Rocket Jupiter EDC. The solid skinner blade rides smooth on bearings with two large thumb studs for deployment. Dual slabs of chamfered titanium house the blade, back spacer and well-engineered button operated liner lock. When depressed, the button prevents the blade from fully closing for an added measure of safety. This version comes with a Hugin pattern Damacore stainless-steel blade and Alien Camo Timascus handle.

Blade: The skinner profile blade deploys with speed via the dual thumb studs or use the fullers for traditional two-hand opening. Hollow ground, the Damacore blade is a powerful slicer with lots of belly at the tip for fine work while delivering exceptional visual appeal and performance. Thumb studs sit flush to the stout blade for comfort when putting pressure on the spine.

Handle: The clean, simple handle consists of two slabs of striking Alien Camo Timascus with a full length blasted titanium back spacer. Inside you will find two steel liners, one is the lock, the other attaches to the button. The combination provides a safe, secure and easy to operate locking mechanism. A milled hole at the back allows for lanyard attachment.

Damacore: Damacore DC18N from Damasteel is a modern san mai steel with pattern welded stainless Damascus cladding, RWL34 and PMC27, with a core of N11X nitrogen steel for a unique combination of style and performance. Folded in unique patterns, the outer layers are acid etched to reveal eye-catching designs seen on the blade. The N11X core provides enhanced performance, XHP level edge retention and toughness with top-end corrosion resistance.
