The D Rocket Design MinimalX was developed as a potential SpaceX company knife and has a standout style you would expect. Completely finished in a discreet blasted matte gray, the knife still has an eye-catching design thanks to the 6 face blade grind and deep fullers. Weighing in at a scant 50 grams, the knife disappears in the pocket while being fast to access and deploy thanks to the bearing driven inline flipper. Blade: Blasted gray M390 stainless steel is milled with large dual fullers for balance, strength and style and delivered in a Tanto-esq profile with six facets: a nearly full length swedge on the spine, a chisel like forward edge and saber grind primary edge. Scrape, cut and slice, this blade does it all with class and deploys fast and smooth on the bearing pivot via a streamlined flipper tab that is nearly flush in either position.

Handle: Two slabs of blasted and subtly contoured titanium are joined in a faux integral construction that is clean, comfortable and rock solid with a smooth and secure integral frame lock for safe use. Jimping top and bottom give solid traction with a three finger grip on this minimalist design. Satin hardware, generous lanyard hole and end mount pocket clip round out the construction. Includes padded hard plastic case for transport and storage.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, titanium deep carry clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
