Part balisong part higonokami, the minimalist D Rocket Design OvalMoon is a bit of both with a magnetic latching handle and bali style swivel pivot operation. Open the top handle cover to access a chisel ground Sheepsfoot blade that rotating out from the bottom handle. Simple, fun, and functional this solid little folder is an ideal choice for urban or office carry. This version comes with a blasted matte gray AEB-L blade and textured black Cerakote coated aluminum handles.

Blade: The blasted matte gray, CNC machined AEB-L Sheepsfoot blade is chisel ground for easy sharpening and excellent slicing performance. A rounded tip makes the Sheepsfoot safer in use while the chisel grind allows a flush fit to the rear handle for safe carry. An internal blade stop keeps the blade solid when open with grip pressure on the handle.

Handle: Two slabs of solid aluminum are milled to house the blade and rotate smoothly around a shared pivot for easy operation. Magnets in the ends help secure the handles in open and closed positions and deliver a tactile and auditory signal that the handle is in operation. This version comes with milled texture front and back and an oval through hole for traction.

AEB-L takes a very fine edge, is easy to sharpen and has a high toughness and edge stability with good corrosion resistance. Offers better edge holding than carbon steels and capable of thin high performance geometry.
