Dawson Knives Angler Arizona Copper 3V Orange/Black G10 Fixed Blade

Designed as a fisherman's knife, the Dawson Angler makes a great bird and trout knife as well as a capable hard use every day carry fixed blade. Dawson utilizes American-made, CPM 3V powder metallurgy steel which offers exceptional toughness with edge holding up to three times longer than D2 and a clear Cerakote coating for corrosion resistance. This version comes with orange and black G10 handle scales and Arizona Copper blade finish.

Blade: Differentially heat treated American CPM 3V gives the slender drop point blade optimal performance with a slicing high hollow grind and solid, piercing tip. Jimping one the spine and choil delivers excellent control for fine cutting tasks and heavy work. Arizona Copper is a proprietary finish that gives each blade a unique, copper like finish while also being surprisingly non-reflective for discreet use.

Handle: Thick, rounded layered G10 scales come attached to the full tang over fiber liners for a rock solid handle. The G10 is blasted and milled with deep grooves for a secure grip, while the pommel end has a flared "fishtail" design that rests perfectly on the pinky for secure comfort in heavy use. Each knife is 100% hand made and includes a Certificate of Authenticity with spec sheet and serial number.

Sheath: Carries via a custom molded Kydex pocket sheath.

CPM-3V: A high carbon alloy steel that is extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. Care and maintain is required. High toughness translates to a stable edge that can be ground thin for enhanced performance. 3V has good edge retention, approaching VG-10 and CPM-154, with more than 3x the toughness. Dawson's differential heat treatment gives a harder edge for performance and a softer spine for added for toughness and flexibility.
