The Dawson Huntsman lives up to its name as a well-thought-out, full size hunting knife, as well as making a solid tactical fixed blade. Dawson utilizes American-made, CPM 3V powder metallurgy steel which offers exceptional toughness with edge holding up to three times longer than D2 and a clear Cerakote coating for corrosion resistance. This version comes with tan and black G10 handle scales and a two-tone Specter finished blade.

Blade: Made from tough, American CPM 3V the stout drop point blade has a high hollow grind for excellent slicing and piercing with plenty of belly for skinning tasks. Jimping on the thumb ramp provides solid control for fine cutting tasks and heavy work, and pairs with the integral guard for added safety. A two-tone Specter finish gives the blade a more discreet look, while providing the spine of the full tang construction a battle worn style.

Handle: Thick, rounded G10 scales are attached with black stainless steel hardware to the full tang for a rock solid handle. Matte finished and milled with deep grooves, traction cuts and a deep finger choil for a secure grip, the handles are contoured for comfort in heavy use. Each knife is 100% hand made and includes a Certificate of Authenticity with spec sheet and serial number.

Sheath: Carries via a custom hybrid Leather/Kydex sheath with multiple carry options.

CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin, as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention. Dawson's differential heat treatment gives a harder edge for performance and a softer spine for added for toughness and flexibility.
