The drop point with wide recurve profile offers greater cutting edge in a smaller package while the negative blade angle enhances power transfer in cutting and is more ergonomic in use. Dawson utilizes American-made, CPM 3V powder metallurgy steel which offers exceptional toughness with edge holding up to three times longer than D2 and a clear Cerakote coating for corrosion resistance. This version comes with copper shred carbon fiber handle scales and an Arizona Copper finished blade.

Blade: A classic drop point delivered with a wide, sweeping recurve edge and high hollow grind for excellent slicing performance with a durable, piercing tip. Jimping front and back and a subtle index guard deliver secure control whatever the task. Arizona Copper is a proprietary finish that gives each blade a unique, copper like finish while also being surprisingly non-reflective for discreet use.

Handle: High performance copper shred carbon fiber comes with a smooth brushed finish, deep milled grooves and traction cuts for a stunning look and comfortable, secure grip. A pronounced swell at the pommel fills the hand and creates a shelf for the pinky, locking the knife in a secure grip. Each knife is 100% hand made and includes a Certificate of Authenticity with spec sheet and serial number.

Sheath: Carries via a custom molded Kydex pocket sheath.

CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention. Dawson's differential heat treatment gives a harder edge for performance and a softer spine for added for toughness and flexibility.
