Details
The M8 model from Direware is a straightforward, no-nonsense tactical flipper. Like most of the knives that come out of the Direware shop the M8 is totally overbuilt with thick scales and blade stock, both made from cream of the crop materials. This particular knife flips open with authority and has the refinement one should expect on a knife at this price point.
The Blade: The blade of this M8 has a ruthless spear point featuring satin grinds and tumbled flats. It snaps open easily when flipped and has a rock solid lockup in the open position. It's subtle harpoon shaped top acts great as a thumb rest and has wide jimping which provides good grip when needed. The S110V steel should provide the end user with a blade which will perform repetitive cutting tasks with ease and is renowned as one of the best steels on the market today.
The Handle: An eye catching lightning strike carbon fiber front scale was used on this knife with the lock side being made from blasted titanium anodized bronze for a rich effect. The carbon fiber face has dual fullers with the hardware being reversed for a nice clean look. A single heavy duty steel backspacer holds everything together with one of the toughest clips we have seen attached for carry.
