Brand new and direct from Emerson Knives

Blade: Made from premium, American S35VN Stainless steel the HUCK has a high saber, V-ground blade with a chisel ground bevel delivering razor sharp cutting performance. The stock of the HUCK is a bit thinner (about 2.7mm) than the more tactical Emerson designs for enhanced cutting performance while maintaining good durability. The flats are stonewash finished to hide wear while the grinds are satin for performance. Designed for hard use in harsh environments, the HUCK is built tough for serious performance.

Handle: The full tang construction of the handle supports two coarse textured, black G10 handle slabs. The spine of the tang is proud to the scales giving the feel of a more contoured handle without added machining. The handle ergonomics provide a secure and comfortable grip in multiple positions are are attached with stainless hardware that is easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance.

Sheath: Carries via an included handmade leather sheath

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V. The inclusion of Niobium allows for the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides. Substituting niobium carbides for some of the vanadium carbides makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
