Emerson Knives Overland Renegade Stonewashed 154CM Richlite Fixed Blade

The Overland Renegade Fixed Blade from Emerson Knives is a full tang knife that draws its design from traditional hunting knife roots but is built to the same rugged standards as those demanded by the ultimate Overlanders – the U.S. Navy SEAL teams. Simplicity breeds reliability in the Emerson Renegade with this version being built from Emerson's standard, stonewashed 154CM with Richlite composite handles.

Blade: Made from well-balanced, American 154CM Stainless steel the Renegade has a high saber, V-ground blade with a chisel ground bevel delivering razor sharp cutting performance. The flats are stonewashed to hide wear while the grinds are satin for performance. Designed for hard use in harsh environments, the Renegade is built tough for serious hard use.

Handle: The full tang construction of the handle supports two smooth and contoured Richlite composite handle slabs. The spine of the tang is proud to the scales giving the feel of a more contoured handle without added machining. The handle ergonomics provide a secure and comfortable grip in multiple positions are attached with stainless hardware that is easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance.

Sheath: Carries via an included handmade leather sheath.

154cm: Crucible 154 CM is a heat treatable stainless steel, which offers higher hardness and wear resistance, and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to 440C.

Richlite Paper Composite: Richlite is a durable, versatile, and highly sustainable material made from resin-infused paper. Developed over 70 years ago for industrial tooling and pattern making, Richlite has expanded into a premium surface material used in many industries including aerospace, architecture and design. Handmade from many layers of high quality custom craft paper, Richlite’s surface texture comes from the natural variation in the way fibers lay within the paper. Composed of approximately 65% FSC®-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin, Richlite’s color comes from a combination of the paper and the amber tone of the resin.
