The Overland Renegade Folding Knives from Emerson Knives is a multi-purpose, outdoors folder with tactical DNA. The Renegade Folder draws from traditional hunting knife roots but is built to the same rugged standards as those demanded by the ultimate Overlanders – the U.S. Navy SEAL teams. Simplicity breeds reliability in the Emerson Renegade Folder that is built with Emerson standard, field tested materials: American 154CM and Richlite paper composite.

Brand new and direct from Emerson Knives

Blade: Made from well balanced, American 154CM Stainless steel the Renegade Folder has a high saber, V-ground blade with a chisel ground edge delivering razor sharp cutting performance. The flats are stonewashed to hide wear while the grinds are satin for performance. The blade rides smoothly on self-lubricating nylon washers and deploys via either the textured thumb disk or the patented Emerson Wave feature for deploy-on-draw when every second counts. Designed for hard use in harsh environments, the Renegade is built tough for serious hard use.

Handle: Dual titanium liners support smooth Richlite Micarta handle scales for optimal comfort and style. The handle is ergonomic while being fairly neutral in design for a comfortable and secure grip in multiple positions. Open back construction makes for easy cleaning and maintenance and the liner lock mechanism is simple, reliable and robust for safe use. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up only stainless steel pocket clip.

154cm: Crucible 154 CM is a heat treatable stainless steel, which offers higher hardness and wear resistance, and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to 440C.

Handmade from many layers of high quality custom craft paper, Richlite’s surface texture comes from the natural variation in the way fibers lay within the paper. Composed of approximately 65% FSC®-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin, Richlite’s color comes from a combination of the paper and the amber tone of the resin.
