Enrique Pena is known for his remarkable fit, finish and function as well as the blending of traditional and tactical in his designs. This Pena Custom Lanny's Clip Slip Joint is no exception. The hand rubbed satin finished CPM-154 blade is razor sharp, perfectly centered and exhibits superb walk and talk. The handles are inspired by classic slip joints with flawless satin finished stainless liners, but are made with handsome and rugged Natural Crosscut Canvas Micarta composite scales, Natural Micarta bolsters and white liners.

Blade: Shaped like your traditional clip point blade the Lanny's Clip is made from premium, American CPM-154 stainless with a hand-rubbed horizontal satin finish and shallow hollow grind sharpened to a razor edge. A generous nail nick is provided for opening which is smooth thanks to phosphor bronze washers. Walk and talk is excellent with solid half stop and flush back spring in all three positions.

Handle: The clean and classic lines of the handles pair well with the traditional construction utilizing modern materials. Satin finished stainless steel liners support the contoured Micarta covers which are fit flush to both the liners and Micarta bolsters, offset with contrasting white liners. The covers have a matte finish and feel great in the hand. The knife is finished off with a satin finished stainless steel shield on the front cover.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
