Details

EXPAT Knives, a division of ESEE, introduces the Libertariat Machete as a lightweight survival tool designed for tropical environments. Features like the draw knife blade hole and 90 degree spine for Ferro Rod striking make the Libertariat a multi-functional tool while the tough, thin, carbon steel blade makes tackling jungle foliage a breeze. The Libertariat is produced in El Salvador, by folks who know about machetes, exclusively for EXPAT Knives.

Brand new product directly from EXPAT Knives, a division of ESEE.

The Blade: Made from 0.118" thick 1075 Carbon Tool Steel the Libertariat slices through grasses and small saplings with ease while being tough and easy to sharpen. The blade has a flat tip which can be utilized for light digging and a hammered "Condor Classic" finish. A hole at the far end of the blade allows for this machete to be used as a draw knife for controlled use.

The Handle: Robust, contoured Walnut handle scales are attached via brass pins and offer an excellent combination of control and durability while the lanyard hole provides the option for more secure retention during serious use. The handle goes right up to the cutting edge allowing for more control in fine cutting tasks or, moving the grip to the pommel end, added leverage for powerful chopping cuts.

The EXPAT Libertariat Machete carries via a Canvas & Nylon belt sheath with secure snap closure.
