Fenix FD40 supports a max output of 1000 Lumens on one 26650 or 18650 Li-ion batter. This is accomplished with a Cree XP-L HI LED. Not a small light, but it has an excellent output to weight ratio. Using O-ring seals the light is waterproof to IPX-8 standards to 2 meters underwater. Patented reverse polarity protection to protect from improper battery installation.

Twist head technology changes the beam from flood to spotlight. The stainless steel side switch with lock-out function ensures against accidental activation.
