Blade: At just under three inches, the hawkbill blade has a fine point and razor sharp edge for piercing and slashing cuts. Made from Bohler N690Co stainless steel the blade is easy to maintain and has a top swedge and high saber grind for balanced performance. Teflon based Idroglider coating delivers a durable and discreetly non-reflective black finish. There are three options for deployment: an integral flipper tab, eye-shaped thumbhole and the Emerson Wave feature for deployment on the draw. Which ever you choose the action is smooth and reliable thanks to durable bronze washers at the pivot.

Handle: Constructed using full-length, skeletonized stainless steel liners the ergonomic scales are chamfered for comfort with finger grooves and thumb scoop for a solid grip. One liner forms the smooth, reliable and rock solid locking mechanism. A partial back spacer extends past the end of the handle to form a solid finger ring ensuring a place for every finger with any grip. This version has handsome, brown anodized aluminum scales that are durable, lightweight and weather resistant and provide a fast, smooth pocket transition. Construction is rounded out with all black hardware.
