The Fox Knives 479TK is a Karambit folder trainer which allows you to safely develop the skill and muscle memory to use a Fox 479 Karambit when it counts. This version sports textured Red G10 handle scales, stainless steel liner construction and a 420C Trainer Blade.
Blade: As a trainer the 479TK sports a fully non-sharpened blade that mimics the dimensions and balance of the standard 479. The blade can be opened via the integral index flipper, the blade hole or the Emerson patented Wave. The Wave opening feature is utilized by catching it on the edge of a pocket while drawing for instant deployment. Smooth function is provided by bronze washers at the pivot.
Handle: The handle is constructed using full-length, skeletonized stainless steel liners for rigidity with the Red G10 handle scales with machined grooves for enhanced traction. A backspacer extends past the end of the handle to form a solid finger ring ensuring a place for every finger with any grip.
Carries via a reversible, tip-up carry black pocket clip.
