Designed by martial arts instructor and edged-weapons specialist Doug Marcaida, the Fox Knives Dart is smaller version of his popular folding Karambit design with a more utilitarian yet tactically functional Tanto profile blade. The compact liner lock folding design carries well in the pocket for everyday carry and use while the Emerson Wave feature delivers ultra-fast deployment on the draw. The 597 Dart comes with a black Idroglider coated N690Co Tanto blade and black G10 handles.

Blade: Finished with a corrosion resistant and non-reflective PTFE (Teflon) black Idroglider coating, the N690Co stainless steel blade is delivered in a saber ground Tanto profile for solid durability and piercing performance and balanced slicing utility on the plain cutting edge. A top swedge enhances the piercing capability while the forward edge of the Tanto is surprisingly functional for utility work. Riding on phosphor bronze washers the blade deploys fast on the draw via the ambidextrous Emerson Wave.

Handle: Black coated stainless liners support coarse black G10 handle scales offering superior traction even when wet. Designed to be comfortable and secure in tip-up or down grips, the ring end handle allows for traditional Karambit techniques to be employed along with standard grips. A robust liner lock mechanism delivers smooth operation and secure lockup.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, black stainless steel pocket clip.

Bohler N690Co: N690Co is a high quality stainless steel with performance similar to Japanese VG-10 with high level corrosion resistance, good edge retention and ease of sharpening.
