Fox Knives of Italy have teamed up yet again with prolific custom Danish knife maker and designer Jesper Voxnaes to bring us the Suru flipper with innovate Carbonlock frame lock. This compact blade is small enough for every day carry but stout enough for some serious use. This version comes with a satin finished Bohler M390 blade, carbon fiber handles and blue anodized titanium hardware and clip.

Blade: A ball bearing pivot delivers exceptionally smooth deployment of the M390 blade via the index flipper or blade hole. A high saber grind gives a good balance of strength and cutting performance with a forward choil for optimal control for detail work. The M390 blade is satin finished and offers top end edge retention and corrosion resistance.

Handle: The handle construction is full carbon fiber with milled holes for even greater weight reduction as well as enhanced traction in the hand. The innovative Carbonlock takes the classic frame lock and forms it from 90% carbon fiber and 10% steel with a steel lock face insert. This design delivers solid, reliable lock up with amazing weight savings putting the whole package at just over 2 ounces! Construction is completed with blue anodized titanium hardware and a titanium backspacer.

M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
