Description:
The GEC #14 Barlow is a classic no-BS interpretation of the venerable Barlow knife. A polished sheepsfoot is the primary cutting blade perfect for everyday cutting. The secondary blade is a pen blade that's great for smaller cutting tasks. Handsome stag covers make the Barlow a great collector's piece.
1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care. Some makers use a differential heat treat process which delivers a harder edge and tougher spine for enhanced performance.
