Designed to chop, cut, and baton the Doubledown has a solid build with patent-pending QuadLock locking system for safety during the most rigorous use. This version has a black 420HC blade with matching hardware, steel liners and polymer handle scales.

Blade: A saber round 420HC stainless steel recurve blade opens balisong-style from the handles to deliver exceptional chopping power in a compact carry platform. Jimping on the spine near the tip gives traction when batoning and a generous guard enhances safety when gripping near the blade. A black oxide finish is discreetly non-reflective.

Handle: Full stainless steel liners support textured polymer scales with a butterfly type operation. The three position Quadlock delivers safety when opening and closing the knife and is backed by a latch style safety when open. Simple and robust, the handle offers a secure grip during use with minimal maintenance.

Carries via a MOLLE compatible nylon sheath.

420HC Stainless Steel: AISI 420HC is a "high carbon" 420 modification developed for higher hardness with improved edge retention and stability. High corrosion resistance and toughness, easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Moderate edge retention.
