The Gator Kukri machete is a three-way tool that pierces, chops and carves with efficiency. The Kukri-style plain edge blade is forward weighted for powerful chopping action. With a Gator Grip rubber over mold handle for traction in the hand the Gator machete is up for everything from backyard maintenance to bushwhacking and trailblazing.

Blade: The tough carbon steel blade has a plain edge for tackling grasses, brush and small saplings. The tapered point pierces with ease and can be employed for drilling holes for a fire board. The big bellied midsection delivers powerful chopping action with minimal effort thanks to the forward weight and handles everything from vegetables to wood. The narrow section of blade near the handle works great for carving, slicing and other fine work.

Handle: The glass filled nylon handle core is ultra durable and lightweight while the Gator grip rubber over mold is comfortable in the hand and offers nearly unbeatable grip security thanks to the high traction. Both materials are nearly impervious to deterioration from exposure to the elements. A forward guard prevents slippage onto the blade and a hole at the pommel is outfitted with a beefy nylon lanyard for added security.

Carries via a nylon belt sheath with Velcro and zipper closure.

1050 High Carbon Tool Steel: Borderline high carbon steel, 1050 is good for various use but is better suited for large knives needing good toughness and shock resistance. 1050 has very low wear resistance and requires care to prevent corrosion.
