The Versafix Pro Red Fixed Blade Machete Hybrid is Gerber's answer to an all-purpose, outdoor cutting tool that covers the bases: chopping, cutting and batoning. The Versafix is a functional tool with innovative design elements that offer a lightweight and efficient cutting powerhouse. This Pro version of the Versafix comes with red and black high durometer over mold handle, Chizl'd texture and skeletonized blade and multi-mount polymer sheath.

Blade: Ideal for any outdoor adventure the Versafix Pro is a compact fixed blade/machete hybrid with durable full tang stainless steel construction and a skeletonized blade with a unique Chizl'd blade finish for a stylish look. The saber grind is durable and the weight forward design offers optimal efficiency for chopping. Forward jimping on the top of the blade gives grip when batoning and the narrow section of the blade near the handle is perfect for fine cutting work.

Handle: A high comfort, high traction dual durometer over mold handle means less fatigue and hot spots while still offering a highly secure grip. Jimping texture on the black polymer choil and pommel areas deliver exceptional control. An exposed pommel end has a large hole for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a slim, pack- & belt-compatible, paddle release, click retention, multi-mount polymer sheath with Velcro retention strap.
