Powerhouse design duo Jens Anso and Jesper Voxanes draw inspiration from the classic puukko of their native Denmark for their utilitarian designs while favoring modern, high performance materials. The GMF3 is more exotic than previous fixed blade designs with its pronounced coffin-shaped handle while the blade is a utilitarian straight clip with a nearly flat grind that begs to be used. This version comes with a stonewashed black PVD coated N690Co blade and natural canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: With a nearly full flat grind the wide, straight spine profile of the GMF3 lends itself to a variety of tasks from food prep and skinning to woodcraft or daily utility cutting. Finished with a rugged and discreetly non-reflective stonewashed black PVD the N690Co blade steel delivers balanced all around performance. A crowned spine offers a high-end feel and comfort in use with jimping mid-spine for traction and a solid grip when leveraging the blade for powerful cuts.

Handle: Contoured, removable (slimmer package option) canvas Micarta delivers a warm feel in hand and traction even when wet. Milled grooves on the faces provide additional traction while the pronounced coffin shape of the handle provides a surprisingly versatile and secure grip that significantly reduces weight with striking visual appeal. Construction is completed with blasted stainless steel hardware and a generous lanyard hole at the pommel.

Sheath: Carries via a handmade Italian leather sheath with belt loop.

Bohler N690Co: N690Co is a high quality stainless steel with performance similar to Japanese VG-10 with high level corrosion resistance, good edge retention and ease of sharpening. Co stands for cobalt, added to enhance some performance elements.
