Details

The #44 Buffalo Jack, or Gunstock, from Great Eastern Cutlery is an exercise in class, precision and compact utility. Its style says true gentleman with its clean lines and smooth edges while the perfectly placed blades are looking for work. It is a great all around size for every day. This one is marked with the "PPP" distinction on the pen blade for "Pattern Production Premiere" as the Buffalo Jack is introduced to the world.

The #44 in Goldenrod Jigged Bone by Tidioute Cutlery is brand new directly from GEC.

The Blades: Up front sits a handy pen blade excelling in small chores such as opening envelopes and small packages. Its big brother in the back is a solid Clip blade ready for more demanding tasks. Both feature GEC's pristine satin finish and wonderful half stop openings. Both are quite easy to operate with about a medium pull and function from the same bolster end. Crafted from USA 1095 high carbon steel that'll hold a good edge and re-sharpen in a jiffy.

The Handle: Also known as a traditional Gunstock pattern as its handle in whole resembles that of a rifle stock. Visually appealing and comfortable in hand on this timeless design. Shaped and textured cattle bone has a light to dark yellow and brown look accented with brass pins and liners. Genuine nickel silver makes up both bolsters and Tidioute traditional shield.

Each ships wrapped up in wax paper inside its shipping tube with company info on the front.
