Description:
From Great Eastern Cutlery, the H40 Hunter is a classic clip-point fixed blade with a cross guard ideal for hunting and field use. The rounded handle makes for a great neutral feel in the hand and extends cutting time by reducing fatigue. Paired with the included leather belt sheath, the Hunter makes a great lightweight outdoor companion. Collectors or users alike will appreciate the Hunter for its classic design and utility.
1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care. Some makers use a differential heat treat process which delivers a harder edge and tougher spine for enhanced performance.
