Details

The TMA flipper from Sam at Grindhouse Knives is a gentleman's tank. Known for cramming as much heft into his folders, Sam pushes the limits on this small every day carry package. It has a super cool blade shape and is quite comfortable in hand.

Brand new product direct from maker.

The Blade: .215 inch thick Chad Nichols San Mai damascus on this one with a stainless CTS XHP Carpenter Steel core. It looks awesome in this sheepsfoot-wharny styled blade finished with a shaving sharp polished edge. An integral flipper tab works in conjunction with a ball bearings pivot system creating some silky smooth flipping action. The user can either work utilizing the flipper tab as a guard or choke up on a built in choil set just behind the cutting edge for finer tasks. From upper thumb ramp to scooped cut out, any grip should be comfortable.

The Handle: Two .187 inch thick titanium slabs, of course, with a snazzy orange peel finish creates the handle. Simple design on the TMA that snags the beginning and end of your grip well. Solid, early frame lock up. Construction consists of blue titanium hardware with open standoffs and a blue unob titanium pocket clip for tip up carry. The number 18 can be seen inside both the handle slabs near the pivot.

The TMA ships in a pouch with specs card from the maker.
