This Guardian Tactical Apex is a slim full-size OTF automatic that still fills the hand, pairing a Two Tone Black MagnaMax blade ground thin to slice with an OD Green aluminum frame and frag-milled carbon fiber inlays.
- Two Tone Black MagnaMax Blade - MagnaMax holds an edge well past MagnaCut, a premium powder stainless whose dense carbides buy that retention and also want diamond or CBN to bring the edge back. The blade is hardened to 62-63 HRC and hollow-ground to a drop point with an upper swedge and small fullers. It wears a black coating with satin flats.
- OD Green Aluminum Handle with Frag-Milled Carbon Fiber Inlays - Machined aluminum anodized OD Green, the frame stays flat across the width and comfortably seats large hands. Two frag-milled carbon fiber inlays grip without biting, held in place with black-coated stainless Torx hardware. Both inlays can be removed using a common Torx driver.
- X-Drive Deployment & Ball-Bearing Slide - A patented ceramic ball-bearing thumb slide fires the blade out and drives it back hard in both directions, staying smooth through the stroke. The X-Drive system inside runs two blade springs against four separate points of contact, allowing the manufacturer to perfectly dial in each knife.
- Reversible Milled Titanium Clip - The reversible titanium clip sets up tip-down on either side for left or right-hand carry and holds the knife secure in the pocket. Milled from solid titanium, it is a clean, sharp-looking finishing touch.

Guardian Tactical hollow grinds each drop point blade and adds an upper swedge making it a perfect option for the daily grind. The robust handle features machined notches around the edges with grooved flats for a solid grip at all times. A reversible pocket clip makes this a pretty sweet package.
