This Guardian Tactical Mini Apex is a pocket-size OTF automatic in an OD green aluminum frame with carbon fiber inlays. The MagnaMax blade wears a two tone black finish, with a grind set up for everyday slicing.

• Two Tone MagnaMax Drop Point Blade - Satin flats sit against black-coated grinds. The hollow grind leaves the drop point thin behind the edge, so it slices cardboard, cord and tape with ease. MagnaMax is a premium stainless, hardened to 62-63 HRC and holding an edge longer than most stainless steels. Its dense carbides want a diamond or CBN stone to bring that edge back.
• OD Green Aluminum Handle with Frag-Milled Carbon Fiber Inlays - Machined aluminum anodized OD Green, the frame stays flat across the width and comfortably seats a full grip. Two frag-milled carbon fiber inlays grip without biting, held in place with black-coated stainless Torx hardware. Both inlays can be removed using a common Torx driver.
• X-Drive Deployment & Ball-Bearing Slide - A patented ceramic ball-bearing thumb slide fires the blade out and drives it back hard in both directions, staying smooth through the stroke. The X-Drive system inside runs two blade springs against four separate points of contact, allowing the manufacturer to perfectly dial in each knife.
• Reversible Milled Titanium Clip - The reversible titanium clip sets up tip-down on either side for left or right-hand carry and holds the knife secure in the pocket. Milled from solid titanium and coated black, it is a clean, sharp-looking finishing touch.
