With patented steel thumb slide base and floating blade construction the Recon-035 is smooth and reliable in its operation while having minimal play and a rock solid feel. This version comes with a two-tone black Elmax Tanto blade and black handle.

Blade: A compound ground Tanto comes with a handsome two-tone finish, black KG Gun Kote on the grinds and fullers contrasting the satin flats. A hollow grind at the tip delivers powerful piercing and precise cutting for detail work while the high saber primary grind balances slicing performance and durability. An innovative and patented floating mechanism prevents undue wear on the blade and delivers a smooth, drag-free automatic operation. Push the slide, which rides smoothly on bearings and a non-magnetic stainless steel plate, and the blade deploys and retracts with a decisive action.

Handle: Black hard anodized, aircraft grade aluminum houses the blade and mechanism with subtle finger contours and strategic milling on the sides for a solid, secure grip. Stainless Torx hardware and integral lanyard hole round out the construction.
