The Hinderer XM-18 3.5" runs a Working Finish MagnaCut recurve over a Battle Bronze titanium frame and orange G10, a hard-use folder that slices clean and stands up to real abuse.

• Working Finish Blade & Battle Bronze Frame, Orange G10 - The MagnaCut blade wears Hinderer's matte Working Finish, and the 6AL4V titanium frame gets a darker Battle Bronze; both are low-glare and made to hide wear. The orange G10 scale is coarse and grippy, and the blocky handle fills the hand and locks the grip in.
• Tri-Way Pivot & Thumb Stud - The Tri-Way Pivot lets you run the action on ball bearings, phosphor bronze washers, or Teflon and swap between them with common tools, so you can tune the knife to your environment. The ambidextrous thumb stud is press-fit into the blade for a deliberate, controlled open.
• MagnaCut Recurve Blade - The recurve grind pulls the edge into a deep belly that bites on draw cuts and slices above its size. MagnaCut is a premium stainless that holds an edge like tool steel yet resists rust and chipping, the balance that lets it slice hard and still take a beating.
• Titanium Frame Lock & Lockbar Stabilizer - The 6AL4V titanium frame lock runs a Lockbar Stabilizer that stops the lockbar over-traveling, and the press-fit thumb stud braces on the frame to take the sideways torque that loosens lesser folders. Lockup is rock-solid with no play, and the clip reverses for either hand.

The Hinderer XM-18 3.5" is Rick Hinderer's take on a folder you can genuinely beat on and then rebuild to taste. It is overbuilt on purpose, with a thick titanium frame lock, a Lockbar Stabilizer that keeps the lockbar from over-traveling, and a press-fit thumb stud that braces against the frame to absorb the sideways torque many folders can't. Hinderer designed the whole knife to come apart with common tools, down to the Tri-Way Pivot, which swaps between ball bearings, phosphor bronze washers, and Teflon depending on how you want the action to run.
