The Ka-Bar Coytu is a full-size rescue folder, an AUS 8A drop point blade on a crossbar lock in a black glass filled nylon handle. The oversized flat grind handles large slicing jobs while the seat belt cutter and glass breaker tip stand by for emergencies.

• Black AUS 8A Drop Point Blade - AUS 8A is an entry-level Japanese stainless optimized for easy sharpening, so a working edge comes back on an ordinary stone. A flat grind and broad belly makes short work of cardboard and rope, with the black finish holding down glare.
• Crossbar Lock - Slide the twin tabs with either hand and the blade drops shut on its own, keeping your fingers clear of the edge. The lock runs smooth in both directions and works the same left-handed or right.
• Back Flipper Opener - A jimped tab rides above the spine and flicks the blade open with one finger, gloves on or off. The tab sits right where your finger lands on the draw, so the motion stays identical whichever hand grabs it.
• Seat Belt Cutter & Glass Breaker Tip - A hooked cutter sits in the butt of the handle and shears a loaded seat belt without opening the blade. The pointed glass breaker on that same end punches out a side window when a door will not give.
