The Kershaw Beskar in dark brown glass-filled nylon flicks open fast on KVT bearings, then lays down a long D2 trailing point edge built for slicing. A scuffed steel inlay gives it a look that seems broken in from day one.

• Trailing Point D2 Blade - The upswept trailing point gives a long, curving edge made for slicing. D2 tool steel holds an edge longer than most budget steels but takes more effort to sharpen. It is only semi-stainless, so wipe it dry after wet work. A working finish hides scuffs.
• Dark Brown Glass-Filled Nylon Handle - Textured dark brown glass-filled nylon keeps the weight down, and steel tube spacers add strength. Steel inlays in a matching working finish add contrast, and the inlay face is engravable.
• Ambidextrous DuraLock Action - A thumb stud and KVT ball bearings send the blade swinging out with one quick push. A steel crossbar slides across the tang to lock it open. Pull the bar back and the blade drops shut under its own weight, with your fingers well clear of the edge.
• Reversible Extra-Deep-Carry Clip - The tip-up pocket clip mounts near the very end of the handle, so the Beskar rides deep with little showing above the pocket seam. It swaps sides for left- or right-hand carry to match the ambidextrous lock.

The Beskar is built in-house as an everyday folder with more style than a plain work knife. Its defining shape is the trailing point, an upswept profile borrowed from hunting and skinning knives that packs a long cutting edge into a pocket-size blade. Kershaw set that blade on its DuraLock crossbar system, which works the same in either hand. That long curve turns an apple into thin wedges at a picnic table without a sawing motion.
