Blade: Robust, full tang construction suits this Bowie-style clip point well with a full height flat grind delivering solid slicing performance. A nearly full length top swedge tapers to the tip for piercing point that does detail work well and the rugged stonewashed finish hides wear from use. With belly from tip to heel, the Camp 5 makes a solid Skinner while the forward weight makes it suitable for light chopping. A short section of jimping on the spine enhances traction and control in the hand.

Handle: Supported by the full tang, the Glass-filled nylon handle scales are milled with texture for a secure grip and contoured for comfortable, extended use. The spine is slightly proud to the scales for an even more contoured feel. GFN polymer is lightweight, durable and impervious to the elements, perfect for heavy outdoor use, and cleans up easily with soap and water. The scales are securely attached with black oxide stainless steel Torx hardware.

Sheath: Carries via a Glass-filled nylon sheath with lock, snap-down strap, belt loop, webbing slots, and tie holes.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
