The large, spear point blade is just under 4 inches and offers easy one hand opening thanks to the patented Emerson Wave feature or via the attached thumb disk and upgraded with long-wearing D2 tool steel. A beefy, stainless steel frame lock secures the blade open during use while the front scale is made of highly durable black G10, adding traction to the secure and ergonomic handle. Makes a great EDC for military, rescue, law enforcement, and civilian knife users alike.

Blade: The spear point blade is made of long-wearing D2 tool steel with a two-tone finish: stonewashed on the saber grind and satin on the flats. An Emerson Wave opener allows the knife to be opened fast on the draw or use the thumb disk for post-pocket deployment. Both features allow for ambidextrous operation.

Handle: The front of the handle offers a high traction black G10 scale supported by a stainless liner while the reverse is a robust steel frame lock for smooth, reliable and secure operation. A semi-open construction makes for easy cleaning/maintenance while the partial backspacer protects the blade and enhances balance in the hand. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all-around knife steel.
