The Kershaw Ferrite is a new design from Rick Hinderer. It has both a tactical look that is ultra modern. This rugged all steel frame lock is both strong and dependable. It's spring assisted blade shoots out like a rocket from just a nudge of the flipper. The black hardware combined with the grey is classy enough for any occasion and makes a great urban carry pocket knife. Brand new direct from Kershaw.

The Blade: The clipped spear-point style blade has both excellent piercing capability and precise tip control. The dropped recess on the blade spine becomes a perfect place to rest a thumb when chocking up on the knife for enhanced control. Speedsafe system deploys the blade in a flash via the flipper or thumb studs.

The Handle: All steel frame is super smooth with a two finger contour for excellent grip. This model has all of the bells and whistles of Rick's Custom models: standoffs, lock-bar stabilizer, and a “filler tab” to cover the unused mount for the reversible pocket clip. Grey titanium carbo-nitride coating on both blade and steel handle increases durability and gives the knife a nice finished look.
