The Highball XL retains these elements in a larger platform with some stylistic changes for a full size, gentleman's everyday carry blade that works for utility and dress carry. All blasted stainless steel construction is classy and discreet housing the matching D2 tool steel blade for solid performance. Dual fullers give a clean look and allow for one or two-hand deployment that is fast and smooth on the KVT bearing pivot, uncommon on non-flipper designs. Blue anodized details add a pop of color to this minimalist design.

Blade: When closed, the D2 tool steel blade blends seamlessly into the handle's blasted matte gray finish for a streamlined look. Jimping on the spine offers plenty of traction for serious use. Operation is fast and smooth on KVT bearings with a classic clip point profile for daily utility. The grinds are flat up to the dual fullers which are utilized like traditional thumb studs to operate the blade single-handed while keeping the lines of the knife sleek and streamlined.

Handle: Elegant and simple, the blasted gray stainless steel handles are contoured for comfort perfectly blending form and function. A robust frame lock construction provides smooth operation and secure, reliable lockup. Blue anodized pivot caps, back spacer and over travel plate add a pop of color enhancing the aesthetic appeal with black hardware rounding out construction.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
