Blade: Stonewashed 8Cr13MoV stainless steel comes in a piercing Tanto profile with a deep hollow grind for excellent slicing. For general utility, fine work, piercing and cutting on flat surfaces this blade is an ideal tool. The ambidextrous flipper deployment provides reliable one-hand operation with velocity from the SpeedSafe assist.

Handle: Stonewashed stainless steel liners support thick, durable GFN polymer scale overlays with molded texture for traction and a modern, segmented construction for visual appeal. The steel liner lock is smooth, reliable, and easy to operate while the semi-open construction reduces weight while protecting the blade. A generous hole allows for lanyard attachment.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with a good balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and takes a razor sharp edge with ease. Edge holding is relatively low.
