Based off the classic Al Mar Buzzard model, the Kershaw Knives AM-5 is a reinterpretation built for the masses. Designed and inspired Kershaw made their version with polished, contoured G-10, an assisted flipper mechanism and solid frame lock. The AM-5 blends the best of both companies users can get their hands on.

The Blade: Crafted in striking drop point fashion this one is flat ground and given a non-reflective black oxide finish. This is an excellent choice for every day as it offers just over three inches of sharp cutting edge. The blade profile is thin and elegant in that intimidating gentleman's style. Deployment extends from the slanted integral flipper tab sticking out the back of the handle. Simply pull down to engage Kershaw's famous SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism. It's fast and reliable every time. 

The Handle: Two part deep four-finger grooved frame locker handle on the AM-5 that looks sharp and feels great. The front slab is black G-10 that's been polished, smoothed out and contoured for a comfortable grip. Frame lock side is built from contoured steel that's been black oxide finished continuing the overall good looks and feel of the Buzzard. They're brought together by a tread-notched half back spacer. The AM-5 is completed with an attached deep carry pocket clip for tip up right hand users. It is also black oxide finished with Al Mar's logo. All black Torx hardware construction.
