Blade: The wide drop point profile of the Knockout is a timeless classic with a nice slicing belly and a fine cutting edge. It offers a true point for piercing and the every day utility of a drop point. Slicing, dicing, skinning and everything in between. This version comes with an upgraded Bohler M390 stainless steel blade. It's heavy stonewash finished and often desired for it's edge retention and corrosion resistance. It is exceptionally sharp and rockets out of its handle thanks to Kershaw's SpeedSafe Assisted Opening mechanism.

Handle: Beautiful, lightweight Carbon Fiber handle scales are smooth and well-contoured to ensure a comfortable grip with some sweeping patterns milled in for added traction and style. A robust, stainless steel Sub-Frame Lock is attached to the interior of the handle delivering rock solid lockup without excessive weight addition. It has an inset liner plus 1/2 length black backspacer for support and protection of the blade when closed. 

Carries via a stainless steel deep carry clip (right hand tip-up or left hand tip-up only).

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
