The Launch 10 (nicknamed The Claw) is a compact, push-button automatic knife from Kershaw Knives that punches well above its weight. A great option for the tackle box the Lauch 10 packs lots of cutting power into a little package that can be deployed with a single hand.
A high quality, carbon steel Damascus, Alabama Damascus is typically 416 layers of 4 different types of steel including:(4) layers 5160 spring steel, (3) layers 203E low carbon high impact High nickel mild steel alloy, (3) layers 52100 ball bearing steel and (3) layers 15N20 band saw blade material. 13 layers of the 4 types of steel are then forge welded and folded 5 times to achieve 416 layers. Cutting performance will be similar to the carbon steels mentioned above. Care is required to prevent corrosion.
