Opening with Kershaw’s KVT ball-bearing system and a minimalist flipper which disappears altogether when the knife is open, the beefy drop-point blade is ready in a flash. Carbon fiber inserts, an oversized, polished pivot and custom back spacer pair with the two-tone satin and gray PVD blade to round out this striking design from Kershaw knives.

Blade: Made from satin finished D2 tool steel, the beefy drop point blade is flat ground for optimal cutting performance with dual, gray PVD coated fullers for visual appeal. Riding on the KVT bearing pivot, the blade deploys fast and smooth via the index flipper tab which is hidden upon deployment.

Handle: Sleek, aerospace inspired lines of the blasted stainless steel handles are complemented by handsome carbon fiber inlays front and back along with a jimped custom back spacer. Contoured for ergonomic comfort, the handles hide the flipper when the blade is deployed for a clean look and offer a variety of grip options. The back of the steel handle forms an integral frame lock mechanism which is smooth to operate and provides solid, secure lockup. A custom style pivot rounds out the construction.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, PVD coated, stainless steel deep carry clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
