The Blade: Tumbled spear point blade with faux swedge is both attractive and utilitarian for EDC. Integral flipper works in combination with the SpeedSafe Assisted Opening technology for speedy deployment of the 3.5 inch blade. Jimping along the flipper tab and thumb rest offer added traction where its needed most. Composed of quality 8Cr13MoV stainless steel.

The Handle: Two-piece front handle scale is formed of stainless steel and black glass-filled nylon giving this folder a classy look and feel. While the lines are angular, smooth and clean, it is surprisingly comfortable in hand with forefinger contour for added control. The backside features a solid framelock mechanism with stylish over-travel. Deep carry pocket clip affixed for left/right hand, tip-up carry.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440C. Sharpening should be a breeze.
